Back up and restore Teamcenter vault data

Teamcenter vault data is backed up when you implement the backup strategy recommended by Siemens Digital Industries Software both before the cited Teamcenter environment-related actions and then periodically. Saving and restoring Teamcenter vault snapshots By default, Teamcenter vault manages secrets using HashiCorp Vault secrets management solutions. With this secrets implementation, refer to vaultproject.io for HashiCorp's instructions. Vault snapshots are saved each time Deployment Center scripts are deployed on a machine. The snapshots are saved to the location specified by the Vault Snapshot Location parameter of the Teamcenter Secrets Manager (by HashiCorp) component in Deployment Center. Refer to vaultproject.io for additional information about HashiCorp's instructions to restore a vault snapshot if necessary. Use these guidelines when following the instructions: Use the Vault location and Vault Admin User credentials specified with Deployment Center. Restore the most recently saved snapshot. If your site has Teamcenter vault configured for high availability, perform the restoration from the primary Teamcenter vault instance. Restore the most recently save snapshot even if the most recently saved snapshot was created by another machine.
