Examples of managing search results

Because a single search may potentially return thousands of BOM lines, you can control how many search results are listed in the table. If the search finds only a few lines (less than five), Teamcenter lists all of them in the table. If there are more lines, Teamcenter lists only the first five and you can click the Display button in the Search Results pane to add the next group of five to the list. The information label in the title bar of the Search Results pane identifies the end item, view, or effective revision rule in effect. You can view the search results in a new window, if required, by clicking the Display in New Window button. You can then perform another search in that window to refine the results.
