Resource tier logs
The following tables list types of resource tier logs and where they can be found. File Management System (FMS) Business Modeler IDE File Management System (FMS) Log file Log contents Log location fscid_startup.log on Linux. fscidstdout.log and fscidstderr.log on Windows. Replace fscid with the FSC ID defined in FSC_HOME\fsc.xml. Log entries regarding server run-time operations. BaseLogLocation\FSC\FSC\process\ fscidxxstxx.log configuration: Set the logging level in the FSC_HOME\fsc.xml file by supplying a value for the parameter $FSC_HOME/FSC_$fscid_$USER.xml. Replace fscid with the FSC ID defined in the fsc.xml file. Valid values are FATAL, ERROR, WARN, INFO, and DEBUG. Siemens Digital Industries Software recommends that you never run an FSC in debug mode. Generally, WARN and INFO provide sufficient logging information. fscid.log Replace fscid with the FSC ID defined in FSC_HOME\fsc.xml. Log entries regarding server run-time operations. fscid.log configuration: Change the location of this file by setting the LogVolumeLocation property in the FSC_HOME/log.properties file. FSC_host-name_user-ID_plmconsole.txt Default console log file for response-time logging. BaseLogLocation\FSC\MLD\process\ FSC_host-name_user-ID_RTEvents.txt Sampled gauge values and threshold notifications. This file is overridden by any JMX interface configuration. FSC_host-name_user-ID_RTTraces.txt Response-time-tracing messages and logging. FSC_host-name_user-ID_RTRemotes.txt Notifications processed by remote Response Time GaugeListeners and TraceListeners.
