Defining granularity of spatial searches
By default, spatial searches return piece parts, that is, parts rather than assemblies. However, you may want the search to return a higher level assembly. For example, if you have small assemblies consisting of parts welded together, you may want to treat the assembly as a unit, rather than returning some of its individual parts. You can change the search granularity by modifying the TruShape voxel size in NX to only return larger assemblies. You can also disable TruShape voxel searches completely, if the results still provide useful information. The coarser the search results, the more quickly they are displayed.
