Install the Teamcenter management console using Deployment Center

This procedure describes using Deployment Center to install the Teamcenter management console. TEM can also be used to install the Teamcenter management console component. Prerequisites The Server Manager component must already be in the Deployment Center Selected Components list before you can add Teamcenter Management Console to the list of selected components. Procedure On the Deployment Center Components tab, if Teamcenter Management Console is not already in the list of components, click Add component to your environment . From the Available Components list, check Teamcenter Management Console and click Update Selected Components. Select Teamcenter Management Console in the Selected Components list. Ensure the following parameters are set. Machine Set Machine Name and OS as appropriate for your environment. General Settings Update Teamcenter Installation Path if necessary for your installation. Communication Configuration Verify the Protocol and Port settings are correct for your environment. LDAP Configurations Choose your LDAP (lightweight directory access protocol) configuration. Use Embedded LDAP Use an embedded LDAP to facilitate authentication and authorization. Multiple embedded LDAP servers are not supported. If you use embedded LDAP, both the Teamcenter management console and the server manager must reside on the same host. Set Protocol to the type of security protocol. Set Port to the port used by the LDAP instance to listen for connections. Use External LDAP Use your own LDAP server. For fail-over purposes, multiple external LDAPs are supported. To support fail-over, multiple external LDAP servers must have similar LDAP configurations. Define external LDAP settings with the External LDAP component in Deployment Center. The external LDAP settings are listed in the Teamcenter Management Console component for reference. If the External LDAP component is not already in the Selected Components list, it is automatically added when you click External LDAP. JMX Configuration Panel Lists the server manager and (optionally) web tier connections to display in the Teamcenter Management Console. When you have multiple server managers or web tiers configured, you can select a server or web tier and click Remove Connection to remove it from the list. Click Add Connection to add a connection to the list. Click Save Component Settings when complete. What to do next Deploy the scripts created using Deployment Center.
