Assign a task deliverable to a schedule task

As a schedule member, you can assign a task deliverable to one or more schedule tasks.

Procedure

1. Open a schedule.

2. Do one of the following:

   To	Do
   Assign a task deliverable to one or more schedule tasks from the Tasks tab	Click the Tasks tab. Select a task from the list, or use multiselect mode to select multiple tasks, and click More Commands > Manage > Assign task deliverable.
   Assign a task deliverable from the Deliverables tab	Select a task from the list. Select a layout from Layout Manager to display the Deliverables tab. From the Deliverables section, click Assign deliverable > Assign task deliverable.

3. On the Assign Task Deliverable panel, do one of the following:

   To	Do
   Search for an existing deliverable	Click the Search tab, enter the search criteria, click search, and select a deliverable from the returned list.
   Select a deliverable that was previously copied to the paste buffer	Click the Palette tab and select a deliverable from the Clipboard section.
   Select a favorite or recently viewed deliverable	Click the Palette tab and select a deliverable from the Favorites or Recent section. Enter the properties for the new deliverable (properties vary depending on the type of deliverable being created).
   Add a new deliverable and assign the deliverable instance to the deliverable (for example, a PDF file or Word document)	Click the New tab. Click Choose File to find and associate a deliverable instance with the new deliverable you are creating. Enter the properties for the new deliverable. Click Add.

4. Click Assign.

The schedule deliverable appears in the Task Deliverables column on the schedule tasks table, on the schedule task's Deliverable tab, and it rolls up as a schedule deliverable that appears on the schedule's Deliverables tab.
