License seat level report

Use the license seat level report to understand the seat level license status of users. The report provides an output in summary and detailed formats. The summary format provides an overall output of seat level license usage information to quickly assess the number of purchased (and/or licensed), allocated and remaining seats. The detailed format reports the seat level license for each user to assist in managing seat level licenses at the user level. In addition to using the License Seat Level Report, you can use the license_usage command line utility. Summary report The summary report includes the following columns of information: Column Description License Server The license server that served the license. License Level They type of license assigned to the user. Purchase Count The number of total licenses purchased and/or licensed for this seat type. Active Users The number of active users for this seat type. Inactive Users With Current Month Usage The number of inactive users for this seat type for the current month. The number of users with a current status of inactive who have also logged in to Teamcenter at this seat level during the current month. Inactive users cannot log in. However, they may have previously been active during the month and logged in as an author or consumer and consumed a license for the current month. Available Licenses The number of unused licenses for this seat type. Details report The detailed report includes the following columns of information: Column Description User ID The Teamcenter user ID. The LicenseUsage_show_userId_in_report preference controls whether or not to output the actual user ID; the preference default value is true. When the preference LicenseUsage_show_userId_in_report is set to false, generating seat license reports from the Teamcenter database provides a secure method of hiding user identity in the output reports. Pseudo User ID A unique ID generated to enable anonymous reporting of user data. The pseudo user ID is always output. License Server The license server that served the license. License Level They type of license assigned to the user. Purchase Count The number of total licenses purchased and/or licensed for this seat type. User Status The status of the user, either active or inactive. Current Month Usage The user's seat level license usage status for the current month.
