Delete task dependencies (task table)
Perform either of the following procedures.
Using the Dependencies dialog box
Select the task in the task table.
Right-click and choose Dependencies.
Teamcenter displays the Dependencies dialog box.
Select the dependency from either the Predecessor or Successor boxes and click Delete to display the Confirm dialog box.
Click Yes.
Using the Predecessor or Successor columns
- Select the task in the task table.
- Double-click either the Predecessor or Successor cell.
- Remove the entries for the dependencies you want to delete. Removing all the information from the box will delete all successors or predecessors of that task.
- Press Enter to display the Confirm dialog box.
- Click Yes.
Alternatively, using the Edit dialog box, choose NONE as the dependency type.
Results
Note: Proxy tasks mirror real tasks. If you delete the dependencies on the real task, the dependencies on the proxy task are deleted as well.
