Enable the display of red lines to indicate structure changes

Enable redlines to highlight structure changes by configuring preferences. Display BOM modifications and properties with red strikethroughs or italicized green text when a change notice is active. Business users can review changes in Reference Designator and Quantity fields, and track modifications to item and item revision properties.

With a change notice set as an active change, BOM modifications and properties are identified by redlines. Your users can review active or closed changes associated with any structure. To enable highlighting the changes with red strikethroughs or in italicized green text, as the system administrator, you must set the AWC_Enable_RedLine_feature preference to TRUE.

In addition to this, you can also set the following preferences:

To do this	Set the preference to the designated value
Review the changes for the Reference Designator and Quantity fields in the structure.	Set the value of the CM_bomline_tracked_properties preference to bl_quantity. The bl_ref_designator value is added by default.
Review the different properties of item and item revisions that are modified in a change.	Set the properties that are to be tracked in a change to the CM_item_itemrevision_tracked_properties preference.
