Warning: This procedure is permanent and cannot be reversed.

Procedure

  1. With the document open, choose Specifications→Make static on the Teamcenter ribbon. A message states that you cannot again connect to Teamcenter from the document and asks if you want to continue.
  2. Click Yes.

The live Word content becomes static and the document is permanently disconnected from Teamcenter.

Note: The current content and object properties remain in the static document.
