Display static snapshot datasets

When you use the Static Snapshot mode and the Copy Snapshot to Dataset option to export data to Word, a Word dataset that contains a fixed copy of the output is generated. For the snapshot dataset to be visible under the item revision, Static Snapshot must be selected as a shown relation for the item revision.

Procedure

1. Choose Edit -> Options.
2. Expand the Options tree and expand the General folder.
3. Select the Item Revision node.
4. On the General options tab, choose Static Snapshot from the Available Relations list.
5. Click the move-arrow to move it to the Shown Relations list.
6. Click Apply.
7. (Optional) To display snapshots in a pseudofolder: on the Related Object tab, choose Static Snapshot from the Available Relations list, click the move-arrow to move it to the Shown Relations list, and click Apply.
8. Click OK.
