Create a Smart Discovery index using Active Workspace

If the Discovery Auto-Index Service and Discovery Sync Service are already installed and running, the structures are automatically indexed at the defined time. However, if these services are not running, or if you want to manually index a structure, use Smart Discovery to allow engineers to find and filter the content within a structure.

Procedure

1. From Launcher, click Indexer and Search Administration Dashboard. (If this option is unavailable, search for it. You can pin it from the search results for future access.)
2. Click Smart Discovery Index > Diagnostics.
3. Select a query and enter the specific search criteria.
4. Click Get Indexing Status.
5. In Status Summary, click the Non-indexed option.
6. Select a structure and click Smart Discovery.
7. Click Yes to confirm that you want to index the structure using Smart Discovery.
