Example result of a multilevel comparison

The following figure shows the results of a Multi Level compare between two different structures. If the structures you compare have: The same subassembly, the system continues with the comparison to check if there are differences below the subassembly level. Different subassemblies, the comparison stops at the level where the subassemblies are different. In the above example, the Engine (View) subassembly is the same for both CarA and CarB structures. However, the subassemblies have two different types of engines because of variant options. Therefore, the multilevel comparison highlights the differences for 1200 CC and 1600 CC. At the next level, the subassemblies are different for both structures. CarA has Chassis (View) while CarB has Body (View). The multilevel comparison highlights that they are different and stops the comparison. Though the two subassemblies have completely different parts, the comparison does not highlight the differences by drilling down because the structures are different at the subassembly level itself.
