Note:

• You cannot promote or demote an object by moving its content control in the document window.
• You cannot promote or demote an object that is the only one at its current level.
• Children of a promoted or demoted object remain with the parent at its new level.

To change the structure level of a requirement or paragraph object, do one of the following in the Requirements pane:

• For the next higher level, right-click the object and choose Promote.
• For the next lower level, right-click the object and choose Demote.

The object occupies the last position at the new level in the Requirements pane. In the document window, the object's main content control moves to the corresponding location.
