Allow color appearances with a specific release status to associate to a color theme

You can configure the color BOM to control which color appearances are available for assignment to color themes based on their release statuses. This ensures that only appearances with specific release statuses can be used in your product configurations.

Note: If the value of this preference is not set, all color appearances are able to be associated with the color theme.

Procedure

1. From Launcher, click Preferences.

   If this option is unavailable, search for it. You can pin it from the search results for future access.

2. Search for and open the Cb0StatusesForApprovedColors preference, and click Edit.

3. Choose the appropriate option, depending on your situation:

   • Leave the Multiple Values check box selected if you want to specify multiple release statuses.
   • Clear the Multiple Values check box to specify only one release status.

4. In the Values box, specify a single release status or multiple release statuses, depending on your previous selection.

5. Click Save.

Results

Color appearances with the specified release status are available to associate with a color theme.
