Allow or prevent structure filtering for users

You can restrict or temporarily prevent engineering users from filtering or searching for an item within structures.

The ability to control filtering is useful when managing performance, system stability, data integrity, or other operational needs.

Procedure

1. From Launcher, click Indexer and Search Administration Dashboard. (If this option is unavailable, search for it. You can pin it from the search results for future access.)
2. Click Smart Discovery Index.
3. Turn on or turn off Smart Discovery Indexing enabled.
4. Click Proceed to confirm the action.

Results

Filtering and searching abilities within structures have been adjusted for your engineering users.

Note: Even after turning off Smart Discovery Indexing enabled, structures continue to be indexed by Smart Discovery. However, the Filter button on the structure is no longer available for engineering users.
