Improving an existing product

If you are refining or improving an existing product, you may begin by reviewing the existing solutions or reference architectures to identify areas for improvement, for example, to make a car more economical. You may collect additional improvement requirements from customer feedback, problem reports, service data, and so on. You may modify the original requirements or create a different requirements structure for the development effort.
