Transfer configured structures to and from NX

You can configure a product structure with revision rules and variants, and then export the configured structure to NX in native format. To do this, select the top-level line of the assembly and choose the Tools→Export Configured NX Assembly menu command. Teamcenter displays the Export Configured UGNX Assembly dialog box, which allows you to choose the export directory and the naming format.

Note This menu command is visible only if your administrator sets the TC_ExportConfigUGNXAssembly preference to TRUE and NX is installed on the client machine. The administrator must also enable the NxClone translator. You can also push or pull variant structures between Structure Manager and NX.
