Configure shared memory
Set the TC_SHARED_MEMORY_DIR environment variable to specify the root directory where the backing store files are stored. Set this to a valid directory and do not change it. If you do not set this environment variable on Windows systems, the directory specified by the TEMP environment variable is used, and on Linux systems, the /tmp directory is used. On Windows systems, if the TEMP environment variable is not specified, the C:\temp directory is used. The shared memory root directory name is also used for making a unique semaphore name among all the collocated Teamcenter servers. When the TC_SHARED_MEMORY_DIR environment variable is set to a different root directory, a new semaphore with a new name is created per shared memory module.
