What is a schedule task dependency?
A dependency link is the required order of sequence between two tasks within the same schedule, between tasks in a master and subschedule, or between tasks in two different schedules. The schedule coordinator defines the type of dependency, such as start-to-start or start-to-finish, and the desired lag time to ensure correct completion sequencing.
Note: The system does not have a dependency restriction to start any task.
Example
During the planning phase, the schedule coordinator defines the task dependency to ensure the sequence of execution. However, during the execution phase, the participant can still start the subsequent task.
