View the SQL Server error logs

You can view the SQL Server error log using SQL Server Management Studio or any text editor. Procedure Expand a server group and then expand a server. Expand Management and then expand SQL Server Logs. Double-click the SQL Server log. Error log information is displayed in the details pane.
