Structure Partitions ─ Deployment and Administration
Specify whether partition memberships are member-owned or partition-owned
You can specify whether partition memberships are member-owned or partition-owned by setting the Ptn0IsOwningMemberships business object constant.
This constant determines how access privileges are managed within partitions. That is, it determines whether access privileges to perform various tasks, such as create, copy, and paste are owned by partitions or by structure elements (BOM lines) within the partitions. The actual value of this constant might be overridden for each partition subtype.
Procedure
- In Business Modeler IDE (BMIDE), locate the
Ptn0IsOwningMembershipsconstant. - Set the constant value based on your requirements:
- Set to True to have partitions own the membership access privileges.
- Set to False to have structure elements within the partitions own the membership access privileges.
Note By default, the value is set to True for Manufacturing and Zone partitions. For other partitions, it is set to False.
