Initiate the comparison process

When you have configured the two structures in separate panes:

Procedure Choose Tools→Compare.... Teamcenter displays the BOM Compare dialog box. In the dialog box, select the mode of operation for the comparison from the Mode list.

Note The modes displayed depend on the value set in the BOMCompareVisibleModes preference. Check the Report check box if you want to display the report pane summarizing the differences between the structures. Click OK to begin the comparison.
