Inactivate and activate a server pool

Inactivating a running server pool prevents it from accepting new connections. After notifying users who are connected to the pool to close down or re-login, the administrator can perform maintenance tasks, such as perform patch install or system level maintenance, and then later reactivate the pool. Existing TcServer assignments in the pool continue to serve clients and can be managed as usual, as long as the pool is still running. Procedure Launch the Teamcenter management console. By default, the address is http://host:8083/mgmt/console. Under Server Manager, select the server pool you want to administer. The Status tab of the console displays information on the selected pool. An Active Status of true means the pool is available for TcServer assignments to new Teamcenter login requests. To change the Active Status value, click the Operation tab and then click the Activate or Inactivate button as appropriate. To confirm the change in status, click the Status tab and check the value of Active Status.
