What effectivity schemes are available?

You can configure structures using one of these effectivity schemes: Revision effectivity You configure the product structure for a particular date or unit (serial) number by applying a revision rule. You can also specify a range of dates or unit numbers. Teamcenter shows the revision of each item that is in effect for the specified date, unit number, or range. Revision effectivity is frequently used by automotive manufacturers. Occurrence (structure) effectivity You configure the product structure in a similar way to revision effectivity, but Teamcenter shows the actual occurrences that are in effect. Occurrence effectivity is frequently used by manufacturers of military and aerospace products.
